Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur fosters innovation and nurtures entrepreneurial talent across India. We empower individuals to turn ideas into impactful ventures by connecting startups with mentors, investors, and essential resources.
Today, E-Cell stands as one of India’s leading student-run entrepreneurship bodies, having supported 2000+ startups, engaged 2 lakh+ students, and collaborated with 250+ mentors. We continue to build a dynamic ecosystem shaping the future of entrepreneurship in India and beyond.

Summit
The Global Entrepreneurship Summit is E-Cell IIT Kharagpur’s flagship event, uniting entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators from around the world. Through talks, workshops, and competitions, GES fosters idea exchange, networking, and inspiration for emerging entrepreneurs.

Million at Stake is a high-impact startup pitching competition where entrepreneurs present their ideas to top investors for funding and mentorship opportunities. Designed to accelerate promising ventures, it provides a powerful platform for innovators to secure investment, gain visibility, and take their startups to the next level.
Empresario
Empresario is the annual business model competition of E-Cell, IIT Kharagpur, designed to discover and support innovative entrepreneurial ideas. It offers expert mentorship from a diverse and experienced mentor pool. Participants also get the opportunity to present their ideas to investors and industry leaders.
EAD-LSM
EAD-LSM promotes entrepreneurial awareness across colleges in India through workshops, seminars, and local startup meetups. The initiative has reached over 50 colleges, benefiting thousands of students. It connects learners with local startup ecosystems, fostering collaboration and real-world exposure.

KGP Forge is the innovation and entrepreneurship acceleration platform of E-Cell IIT Kharagpur, designed to support student innovators through structured mentorship, essential resources, and alumni guidance. Startup Boot Camp (SBC) is an intensive program that helps aspiring entrepreneurs learn the essentials of building and scaling a startup through workshops and mentorship. It has trained hundreds of participants, many of whom have gone on to launch successful ventures.
E Adda
E Adda brings successful entrepreneurs and industry leaders to interact with the E-Cell community and share their experiences, insights, and lessons. Having hosted over 50 renowned founders, unicorn leaders, and industry veterans, E Adda offers inspiring, informal sessions that provide real-world understanding of the entrepreneurial journey beyond traditional learning.
